Fraunhofer implements it's claim to install innovative techniques in the new built pilotplant togehter with with famous industrypartners.
About 40 well known companies participated in delivering equiptment (amongst others STC, CHEMA, ANA).
Four mostly local companies (Thyssen/Krupp, Foxboro, Röhrmann und Yokogawa) were enlisted to
build the plant including the process control engineering.
Regarding the part of synthesis the main focus "innovative high viscosity technique"
is realised with the help of two kneaders (single and double axle) from our partner LIST.
A gassing reactor from the company BIAZZI - using a worldwide unique technique - provides
the opportunity to dissipate even at high pressure a high amount of heat of reaction using
heat exchangers in the side. This achives a high amount of room-time-yield.
In the range of processing the combination of compounding and casting in an IMC-machine from
the company Krauss-Maffei represents the most innovative technique in this field of activity.
